Life is like riding in a car....

...It's just a longer journey.
Most people like to be in the driving seat, some people insist on it, while others absolutely refuse to be in control.
Some people want to sit up front & give directions, but they don't actually want to drive.
We love to criticize other's mistakes but hate to accept our own.-We all think we are good people/drivers. Don't we?
I think the happiest travelers are the ones who sit in the back, not really knowing or caring, how or when they will get there.- Although they're sometimes the ones who freak out most, when really lost.
The most important thing for me:- If I don't like the seat I'm on, I can always move to another, or get out and find a different way to go.
I want a motorbike, so I can sometimes just be by myself, but it's also dangerous -If it starts to slide, who knows where I'll end up? (Wiped out & dressed head to toe in leather?)
People love to show off their cars/lives. I guess I'm no different.

My daughter's class is doing a project on the 1960s. She told her teacher that I had a car made in 1965 and I was asked if I'd take it to school. I felt a bit weird about it at first, but the kids were so cool. They all had a go sitting inside & beeping the horn..They were all quite excited but really polite. One boy offered me £300 for it!
Later, the class made me three thank-you cards & everyone wrote a message in them. I was so happy that I nearly cried. (But I didn't, honest)

Maybe next time: My top three most embarrassing schoolboy experiences.
I said "maybe".

Hi Bob, I know this has got nothing to do with your extremely cool car but I was just wondering what happened to tales of endurance part 1,2 + 3. Did you record them and if so where am i able to hear them? Thanks

I thought life is a cigarrette...?

and taking your car to your daughter's class is way cool. I wish someone did that when I was little :)
